New ‘do

Took the bus into town for my hair appointment this morning. Boy was it warm, not a breath of air anywhere.
Luckily the salon had both doors open so there was a nice through draught. My stylist Val worked his usual magic but I was a wee bit disturbed to realise the wax he used to give my hair some volume is sold as a hair loss preventative! Is he trying to tell me something?

Mr PHL came into town to meet me and we had a bite of lunch before deciding it was too hot to wander through town so went to the shopping centre instead to pick up a bit of shopping.

Home to strip Miss PHL’s bed and get the sheets washed and out on the line. We’ve got visitors coming in a few days so I need to start the tidy up! I’m such a bad housewife that only the threat of visitors prompts me to clean.

Used some of last nights leftover chicken to make a pasta dish for tea. Tasty but I was melting by the time we sat down to eat.
