Lac Blanc

Lac Blanc was very busy today but that didn’t detract from its beauty or setting.

We left home this morning in the campervan and car to drive to Chamonix. We took the Flegere cable car/chairlift then walked to Le Lac Blanc. The scenery across the valley to Mont Blanc was incredible (see extra).

Tonight we are camped in Les Bossons. We brought our 6 man tent for our visitors to use BUT on trying to put it up we réaliséd that, for some reason, the bag didn’t have the poles in! Luckily, the owner of the campsite lent us a two man tent for my sister and her husband and the two young men are, rather excitedly, sleeping under the stars. We had quite a laugh about it all.
