Today's the day ...................... to perform 

We have all three of our grandchildren here today - on their own, for a sleepover - probably the first time this has ever happened.

And we've had lots of fun with them, despite the heatwave that has even reached these parts now.  They put on a grand show for us today, master-minded by Tessa and so there was great attention to detail.  By that, I mean numbered tickets corresponding with numbered seating, proper refreshments in the interval - and a variety of performances by members of the cast to show off their individual skills in gymnastics, singing and dance.  It was a triumph.

So, fingers crossed that a good night's sleep will be had by all - and then we'll no doubt be ready to go again tomorrow .....................!
