Windermere

We took Andrew and Katie to see the Champion Trees at Stagshaw today. They were suitably impressed! It was a pleasant temperature under the trees, though quite hot for climbing to Jenkins Crag but we didn’t want to miss that.
Terrible traffic on the way there but the run home was fine, where we rewarded ourselves with ice creams in the garden!
