“Show of Hands” probably our favourite groups currently active. Runrig, of course, will always be number 1; they retired 4 years ago.

A packed day with a meeting for me at Tenterden while Susan went to see her mum. After an early lunch we drove to Broadstairs for a couple of acts at the Broadstairs Folk week.

In the afternoon it was the Longest Johns, they of the Wellerman sea shanty fame through TikTok during lockdown and in the evening Show of Hands. Two really excellent gigs.
