Buzzzzzzz

A day of April showers, only this time more showers than sun.

I took a quick trip to the woods near the house to check how far along the bluebells were but not yet. I will blip from there when they are out.

On the way back I spotted, or rather smelt this red current. I have always hated the smell of them. It was looking good in the sunshine and was attracting a few bees.

This shot I was pleased with as I have no macro so it is cropped a fair bit. Any suggestions for improvement gratefully received.

Now I must go to get ready for the book group. Tonight I am hosting it for the first time, oh dear!. We have been reading "The unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry" by Rachel Joyce. Interesting enough for a light read.
