Reaching for the Street ...

... Union Street, that is,  on my late afternoon walk (marked on the map). Today we took a midday trip to the dump--not too much to take, but better to get it done than to wait for more to accumulate.  

More tennis,  this time in Toronto: The main event was an appearance by Serena Williams.  She lost in two sets to Belinda Bencic of Switzerland, but the main thing was her  brief post-match interview. She tearfully thanked the applauding fans, who were all too aware that it would surely be her last appearance there.
