“Hmmmm…… It Smells Different”….

Maisie was checking out an area adjacent to her summer swimming hole. And it is different….Upstream, which is behind where I am standing, is totally unrecognizable due to recent flood waters racing through this rather secret pool in the Taylor River. Hopefully it will be more attractive once the trees burst into leaf and in the summer.
Today Margaret’s partner Steve supervised Keith’s discharge from Wairau Hospital and admission to the hospital wing at Springlands Lifestyle Village. I don’t know what we would have done without Steve. He is a tower of strength. Duncan and I cannot visit Keith until we are out of isolation and free of Covid-19. It is all very stressful and I will be so glad when life settles down a little. .
