New bridge.

I asked my gardener to build me a longer bridge across the stream. The old one was short, so sat too low on the bank and meant a slippery scramble up one side!
The new one rests almost at the top of the bank - much better!
I'm going to plant a tunnel at one end so that you don't see the bridge at first. It'll then be like discovering a secret garden..
The stream is hidden on one side by hawthorn but I don't really want to use that. I shall probably use willow or hazel - much more user-friendly!!

I've just cut the grass and had to wear an old ski jacket and gloves!! I hope the bank holiday weekend is a little warmer.. I've opened up the pool.. :-/
