The old Shepherd’s Chief Mourner

from the picture by Landseer
Not done very much today been pretty hot but ok here with the breeze.
This morning we went to have another look at St Martins church Glandford. We went last time we were here and wanted another look. The church was rebuilt around 1900 by Sir Alfred Jodrell using the best materials and tradesmen that money could buy. While it was being built his dog Nimble died to he had this pew end carved in his memory. An outside view is the extra.
We also went to the Art Cafe for coffee and had a look around the gallery next door.
That’s about it we may well go for a walk later.
Sunny and hot
