Borlotti Beans

This is the first time I have grown Borlotti beans. They started well and then seemed to stop growing but slowly they have picked up and it now looks like we will have a reasonable crop.
To the dentist first thing this morning as a filling had dropped out and now I have to go back to have a second filling replaced as there are signs of decay. The joys of increasing age.
The gates have received the second coat of preservative. The final coat will have to wait until after the weekend, as Bill and Joy are visiting. 
We have started saving water from the kitchen and from our showers and using it to water the garden. It is amazing how much water we use and can recycle in this way. It is also going to make us fitter carrying it around.
