Kirkstone Pass

Lunch with a dear friend today who has recently been bereaved.  Wide ranging, funny and sad conversations about the friend.

A very, very hot day today.  Quite unlike Cumbria.  Home via the Kirkstone Pass where we stopped to take this looking down on Brother's Water.  The beck in the foreground is normally much fuller than it was today.
