Roses

Roses are still continuing to put on a reasonable display in the garden without  being watered. They are deep rooted and are probably tapping into the clay sub soil which is prevalent around here. The refreshing breeze from earlier on did nothing to lower the temperature, just moved the air about. Now that has died away and  it is still over 26C at 8 p.m.
If I could choose a song to sum up today it would be " I'm busy doing nothing" from the Wizard of Oz, because that's me today.
