Swan family

A close encounter with the swans by the wheat field. They were just about to land there, when I came to see if I could get a shot of them on the pond. They turned away at least for the time I was near.

Spent most of the day fencing the new pasture. Almost ready now, though other preparations are needed before moooving the cattle. Luckily there is still something to eat in the old pasture, though not much considering they have been there just eight days and it's over 2.5 hectares. The new one will have better grass and it's even larger, so they'll have a good pasture for many weeks when they get there.
