At the auction mart
Yesterday was getting Stuff into the van at the store, out of the van at our end, then some of it unpacked. So today is the recycling centre to get rid of packaging. We swing past the auction mart to talk about auction dates for what we don't need any more, and there's a farm equipment sale. Swipe me, even crofters get rid of knackered old kit. Sorry ... upgrade their equipment portfolio. Stickers on each valuable antique saying how many thousand hours each has been run for. Sounds of engines being fired up, if only to prove they actually can be fired up. Expect to see another crofter taking therm home.
Then back to unpack more Stuff, for more recycling tomorrow. The day to be leavened by donations to Highland Hospice and Beauly chippy. One good thing though. Instead of going to landfill, six large sacks of expanded polystyrene nodules will go to Cromarty Pottery to package commissions that Bärbel sends out. Recyclists we are.
