Lonely Tree

Another hot day! Spent most of the morning indoors. Then I got a message from Sue, " How about a run around Exmoor to find some heather, leave 4.30-5.00pm this afternoon?"  How could I refuse. :-)

We went a route we haven't done for a while, which is why we stopped near this tree, which has been photographed many times over the years by many people, so my turn again today. Lovely to see the heather, some gorse, and golden grasses.
