And so she should be. 30th birthday today. Got a helicopter ride up to the top of her nearby mountain in British Colombia. We FaceTimed her at 8am her time and the e-card we had organised bought tears to her eyes, it was signed by so many family and friends.

Thirty-something-silly degrees at home today, very difficult to work, walk or concentrate. TSM had it very bad but was better come evening. Did manage to go shopping briefly with The Yoga Mama. 

Halfway through The Trees by Percival Everett. Dark and very funny. Cops confronted by a series of bizarre murders with historical relevance and the same MO involving severed testicles. Tom Sharp meets Fargo with zombies. Can’t wait for the denouement…
