The Cloisters

This morning we went into Worcester Cathedral.  Ann bought a guide to the Cloister Windows. There are twenty eight windows,  seven on each of the four cloisters.  The windows show the history of the country, and the Cathedral and college specifically,  from 900 AD to the Millennium.  The book identifies each panel and their position in the window.  The photo shows Ann in the West Cloister. I've chosen one of the windows as an example, this particular one from 1558 to 1603 features Elizabeth I and Shakespeare.

Later Ann started taking up the lounge carpet in preparation for a new floor, yet to be bought and laid when we decide what we want.
