Eskmills clock

This clock was crafted by Glasgow's Saracen Foundry  ironmakers to Raffles Hotel in Singapore.  Eskmill dates back to 1812 when Musselburgh local Colonel James  Paterson  invented and patented  the first machine capable of tying knots for the manufacture of fishing nets
