Past times

Just as I was looking for some old pics in my files I came across this picture taken in Lincoln many, many years ago.
That's me admiring Lincoln cathedral in my first visit to England the summer  when I worked as a chalet maid in a Holiday Camp in Skegness - Lincolnshire.
I had thought that the best way to practise my English was not to go to a summer course for students of English but to mix with people my age who were English speakers. In my job I could practise with them and at the same time I could get some money to pay for my stay there.
