Top Day

After 17cm of snow last night it was great to wake up to this sight.
I thought we might be in for another blizzardy day so got out slightly earlier than usual. However by late morning the sun had come out and with the fresh cover it was the best day I’ve had all season. In fact it was so good I just had a Mars Bar for lunch and stayed out till the lift closed. I didn’t think I could still do that. The half day off yesterday must have helped.
Home tomorrow with the relieved feeling I’ve survived another year intact :-)
