Sin City

Our last day here in Amsterdam before we fly home to Boston tomorrow.  We are staying at a very nice hotel right on a canal in the center of the city, within walking distance of all sorts of sinful things ... the Red Light District, cheese shops, frites shops (french fries slathered with mayonnaise!), and of course marijuana shops everywhere.

We took a stroll for about an hour, but it was so hot we beat a retreat back to the lovely calm, leafy courtyard of our hotel where we had a restorative lunch and a cooling gin and tonic!  Now nap time beckons ...
