A cold winter’s day….if only

Well with the heat today I stayed in my study and worked on my grand daughter’s Xmas book. My blip is of the prototype front cover.Three images combined to create this.

The couple of extras are still prototypes but should give you an insight into the tone of story. Jeano should recognise one of backgrounds. I would stress that the room background does not reflect the decoration in our house.

Last night I had another bowls match and it promised to be a tough evening. However the bowls green had trees on its west side so after a couple of ends we were in shadow which turned out to be very pleasant.

Played a very good club and I was lucky to be with three very good players from my club in our quad team. Our opposition were very good but through some good tactics on our part and some great bowls we were able to win 26 to 11. Our other teams also won with scores of over 20 so we took the game 8 nil so overall a good week for bowls.

We continue to get lots of wild life coming down for water in our garden. Every things looks to be suffering at the moment. I put this hot weather down to the early start of the football season. This should be good preparation for the World Cup.
