Animal Attraction

Woke up not feeling too bad after last night's activities. Got up and cleared the plates etc away, had some cereal and coffee and went back to bed to wait for the others to get up.

Has second breakfast of a bacon sandwich and hung around while Steve and a friend went to get the meat for the BBQ tonight.

One of Steve's friend had brought her working whippet with her this weekend. During breakfast he was sat on the sofa in a sunbeam looking very regal. This is the first time I have spent any time around whippets and found it hard to judge their mood. Not the sort of dog that I would be attracted to but still a very nice looking dog.

This weeks blip challenge word is Attract. This is a very tenuous entry into it, as you can never really tell what attracts people to certain types of dog.

After a while gave up waiting for Steve and the meat pile to come back and went out to find the beach. Found one with lots of pebbles before finding another on further down the coast. Had a nice walk in the sun and wind before coming back to the cottage for a quick power nap.

The BBQ was started while we went for a walk and arrive back in time for the meat feast.
The remainder of the evening was more civilised than the night before with a boys v girls Trivial Pursuits game (which the boys won) and lots more whisky.
