Quarry Bank Mill

An interesting trip to Styal to visit Quarry Bank Mill for a spot of National Trust lunch and an interesting trip round the mill (with working machines and demos).

The object of this photograph looks very futuristic rather than an historical machine. Unfortunately I didn't take note of what it was called or what it did! We'll have to go back for another visit soon.
