New arrival
We spent a while digging holes and planting wildflowers on a steep bank beside the Water of Leith - there were a couple of dozen volunteers so we managed to plant a thousand wee plants between us. Primroses, violets, teazels, cowslips, foxgloves, ox-eye daisies and kidney vetch; there may have been more. It should look great, but not till next year probably. (Edit: the plant were bought with funds awarded by Leith decides - hurray!)
Afterwards we strolled along to Ocean Terminal to pick up some supplies and to see if the arctic terns had arrived yet. They hadn't, but I was surprised to see the Fram docked in Leith since it was only a couple of days ago that I had seen a blip of it in Lerwick.
