after the rain

after the rain the birds came down to the feeder - goldfinch, chaffinch, greenfinch, tree sparrows - all after the niger seeds. every time l went to the kitchen window they flew away so had to resort to the bedroom window instead! here it is cardeulis cardeulis or the goldfinch!
