Cool Pennines

It was several degrees cooler up on the Pennine ridge today with a pleasant easterly breeze. The rocks, grass and heather looked great in the sunshine but the views towards Manchester were a bit hazy. For the first time up on the tops I saw a deer. There are plenty lower down.
