Dahlia

Out early this morning before it got too hot and before the Pollok Park got too busy.

The gardeners had the sprinkler on in the veggie garden and I was so tempted just to stand and let the cool water give me a bit of a soaking.

Not many dahlias in flower yet ...... this is one of the three that were soaking up the sun

I'm needing to water my own front garden. I've done the back which is now in shade but the front is still partially bathed in sunshine ..... another half hour and I should be able to give the very dry ground a big drink.
