birdwatch hour

We sat outside the house in the shade and were amazed at the number of birds species we saw in one hour, 19.

There were some just passing through like 2 Willow warblers and a Spotted Flycatcher ( the first garden record in over a quarter of a century ) but most are residents like the Chaffinch and Long-tailed Tit in the photo.

I saw a Physiotherapist today after hurting my shoulder and being left with some numbness in some fingers. He was optimistic that it will pass with time and gave me some neck exercises.  extra photo a view from the Waiting Room
