Orford Ness

Today we booked to go on an hour’s boat trip from Orford . It was a delightful spot - so ‘boats’ in the old fashioned way, busy but not over run. The trip was fun with an interesting commentary about the military secrets of the Ness - these buildings were part of early atomic testing . We did a circuit of Havergate Island but sadly no avocets that day . 
A trip to Aldeburgh cinema in the evening to see ‘ Where the Crawdads Sing ‘ . We really enjoyed it despite the poor reviews.
Unfortunately Sue left her phone there and we ended up making a return trip that evening but the cinema was locked up.
The cinema was next showing a film Sunday evening - made us realise how much we rely on our phones..
