Poppy Factory Richmond-upon-Thames

Today fellow Blipper W and I visited the Poppy Factory. 2022 marks its centenary.
First off we had an interesting presentation about the history of the Factory which was initially in South East London. We could then examine the exhibits which included various wreaths made for, and placed at, the Cenotaph by members of the Royal Family. 
We were able to make our own poppy. See extra blip which shows the device used. The Factory makes many thousands of poppy wreaths each year and supports Veterans into all kinds of Employment across England and Wales. Of course, the visit included coffee and cake in the cafe! 
We then had a stroll along the river and a very nice Tapas lunch in the shade.
