HOPI BLACK SUNFLOWER

Earlier in the Summer, I posted this
SUNFLOWER’s first bloom. When it faded, I
removed it, hoping it would produce another. Instead, it gave me all these small flowers all along the stem.

During these very hot August days,
this sunflower thrives. I aspire to do the same.
