Cartmel Sands

This evening we walked along the North side of the embankment of the coastal railway line to the Leven Viaduct where there was a geocache. Once there I walked under the viaduct I could blip this shot looking South over Cartmel Sands. You can see Chapel Island on the left where we walked to last Saturday. There used to be walks to it from the West but as you can see the water channel is wider here so it is more dangerous with quicksand
