Really productive morning spent on my Mac thanks to a little help from a kindly friend. Definitely getting to grips with its operating system so feeling pretty chuffed about that.

Late afternoon watched my eldest, three of his best mates & the rest of the Stanmore team thrash the opposition in their plate cup final to win 5-0. Best & final game this season & to top it all my 15 year old scored a goal! Proud mum!

The day seems to have ended on a sadder note however. Tomorrow I'm hoping there will be '... silver in the stars & gold in the morning sun...' for someone special.
