Spring?

Another day in Lancashire - first visit of the day was to the village of Wray to see their scarecrows - it was very entertaining and people used so much imagination- very impressive. Then the weather deteriorated so we headed for White Scar Caves, for a guided walk around - incredible place. Then after a picnic lunch in lots of rain (we stayed in the car) we went to visit Michael and Rachel in Askrigg for a lovely cream tea - thank you Rachel:). Had to go and visit these sheep and lambs who live on their meadow - so cute and bouncy even in the cold. Finished today at The Stork , a pub just up the road from the hotel where we enjoyed beautifully cooked ham hock cooked South African style - yummy!
