Good weather for spiders!

With such little, or should I say non existent rain, the hundreds of spiders in my garden are having a field day!
Their webs are not getting disturbed. Every morning as I take my first walk in the garden I run the gauntlet of wispy webs stretched out across the plants and pathways, so many at Dave level!!!!
I always feel guilty at causing such destruction when I think of the time and effort it has taken the spider to spin them.
This web on the top of my mangle looks well used though.
