Moon

Woke up at 4.30am this morning and was very hot so got up and opened all the windows and doors to let in the cool air - it was so lovely. 
The almost full moon that I missed yesterday was shining brightly and I've never tried to photograph it before so thought I'd have a go. 
I'm quite pleased as I was too lazy to get the tripod out. I think it turned out OK. 

Apart from a quick check at the butterfly house, I've been reading and watching sport all day trying to stay cool. Can't wait for Monday when we are supposed to be getting back to more normal temperature and maybe even a sprinkling of rain.
