Taken on our walk yesterday, we haven't been out today as it was far too hot for little ladies in thick black fur coats even at 7.30am this morning. Its not just the air temperature but the heat absorbed by the pavements and roads burning their pads.
I've just seen a warning by the RSPCA that walking in these temperatures can be as dangerous as leaving a dog in a car.
She's half an acre in which to wander and that's what we've been doing. If it cools down somewhat before it gets dark we'll have a ball game for a little while.
It's been 34 degrees this afternoon, and the BBC weather app keeps changing as to whether we get rain next week, sigh!!
