Go Wild in the Country

I saw blue sky when I peeped out of my curtain, when I was in bed this morning, so decided I needed a day out in countryside! I walked to Lewisham and got a bus to Bromley, then another to Downe in Kent.

I had a very enjoyable plod through fields and woods, following the public footpath signs from Downe to Cudham and back. I had to cross a few stiles and managed to do so in a very ungainly manner, but avoided ripping my jeans in the 'buttock area', so no scaring the horses and serious looking ramblers with those walking pole 'things'! There were lots of bluebells in the wood just starting to bloom and I saw swallows swooping over the fields for the first time this year. It definitely appears to be Spring at last!

I rather liked this field covered in yellow dandelions...I bet the rabbits do too.
