No Horses

Two walks to do supermarket errands, one in the morning, one in the afternoon after a 2-hour heat-induced nap.  The horses were there in the morning and they were quite active, but in the afternoon I think they may have taken a nap, too.

Despite the heat, the usuals at home, but we are taking it very easy.

Last night, AW opened the upstairs windows to let the cool air blow through, and we spent an hour looking out of the bedroom, waiting for some Pleieads to burn out and die, but none were forthcoming.  We had already spent some time outside in the late evening for the same purpose, to no avail.  Might try it again later, but, if they do streak across the sky, they will certainly be too quick for the camera.  It's also nice to enjoy something without having to shoot it.
