Blooming lovely

My flowers from Mr A have done so well, it’s over a week now and these are still blooming lovely.

I’ve never had gladioli before, so I have been following guidance that I read online and it does seem to have done the trick.
The recommendations were for cutting the stems at a 45 degree angle to start, then every 3 days afterwards. Water was a case of ‘less is more’, to give them a fresh drink rather than letting them sit in stagnant water.

I’ll certainly try this with my next lot of flowers to see if I get the same longevity out of them ;-)
