Homeward Bound

We called in to see friends David and Jane on the way home. They converted some old buildings on their daughters farm into a delightful home. We enjoyed coffee and scones  along with a catch up. 

We had another stop off in Barnard Castle on the way home. Richard went to school there….I am not allowed to say how long ago! Jet needed a walk so we had a wander up to the castle. The town was busy but we used the alley ways to avoid the busy streets and keep Jet in as much shade as possible.

Once assured our eyesight was acceptable we continued our journey home ; )

A few plants had suffered but thanks to Matthew popping in mid week the majority survived.
