Morning Light

Previously, I've gotten photos of the hummers on my patio later in the day.  The light gets very sharp there after 10 AM.  Today, with the temperatures cooler and a light breeze, I brought out my tripod, a chair cushion and my iced coffee and sat down to savor the moment.  In no hurry (for a change), I waited for the birds and totally relaxed.  It was interesting (and definitely to my benefit) that they didn't seem interested in the feeder, even with fresh nectar.  They concentrated on the salvia, so I did as well.  The light hit this bird just right, and the black cover of the gas grill provided the dark background.
