Tough little Poppy!

The earth in the small wildflower garden is parched and the flowers withering fast.
The gardeners have kept the formal flower beds watered but the wild flowers have just been left.
There are a few corn poppies still looking quite good as their very floppy petals cling on at the top of the string like stem.
