Shepherd’s delight

It has been unbearably hot today!

I went for a 5 mile run before 9am and almost died! I sat in the paddling pool that we had filled before the hosepipe ban as soon as I got home. I felt a bit funny for some time afterwards.

At lunchtime it was decided we needed sausages. I was unable to face getting the car, so I jumped on my bike. This almost finished me off! I had a long lay down afterwards.

As we speak, I am enjoying the relatively cool evening air.

Tomorrow is forecast to be even hotter :-(
