Beach

Another day, another beach. Gazos Creek is my current favorite beach - perhaps because whether you're coming north from Santa Cruz, or south from Half Moon Bay, it's always the most distant beach, so the least populated (except for the birds). Somebody's gone to a lot of trouble to pile up the driftwood into a tepee, as people do when there's nothing else to do at the beach (it's challenging for swimmers with the currents and waves and great white sharks, while the surfers seem to prefer other spots).
A wider view and a sunburst in the extra - I made it with my lens, my husband has only just told me there is a filter for that, which would certainly be a lot easier. But definitely cheating.
