Walked to garden centre in neighbouring village to buy a birthday card - espied this method of forecasting weather - delivered card to V whose party was in full swing - even at three in the afternoon - stayed for a couple of hours - good to catch up with folk not seen for ages - the party was forecasted to go on for quite some time
