Fete

A great turnout for the village fete despite the 30+C temperate, with even the overflow car park being full; loads of shade and a light breeze.

Enjoyed The Moonshiners rockabilly band, and the The Lace City Chorus too. Stalls a plenty, much fun for the kids and adults alike. A dismal performance from myself on the welly wanging as usual, one throw requiring a shout of "Four".

The Kids and Dad's running and sack races always a highlight at the end, with at least one tumble/ lunge for the line in each race.
