Party time

Very hot again, but when there is a party on offer you have to brave the weather!  One of our Am-Dram members turned 40 this week and decided to have a big party to celebrate.  We arrived near the start and bagged some seats in the shade in a big gazebo. People who know me know I hate balloons, but they were everywhere and popping every few minutes - I got used ito it after a while!  All the Players were invited, all her family, all the families of her children’s school friends and all her friends from the village and beyond - it was going to be a big “do” going on well into the evening.  Nice to catch up with people not seen for some time, plus some neighbours of mine who are also her relatives. Stayed a couple of hours and then a hot walk home up the hill.  Packing to be done this evening!
